who's the oldest famous woman who's still hot?

I’m a sucker for a good MILF any day, but I’ve lately been shocked by how hot some women manage to remain even into…extended age. But who’s the oldest woman who’s still officially “hot?”

Cher is planning to pose nude for her 60th birthday (20 May 2006) and meanwhile is a pretty sexy 58 (though the “Manufactured by DuPont” tag is available everywhere on her body). Dolly Parton turns 59 next month and, while also equal weights in flesh and collagen and gel, looks good.

In another recent thread I mentioned Dawn Wells of Gilligan’s Island fame, who at 66 looks incredible. Here is an unaltered non-publicity still of her from last September (when she was 65).

I know there are going to be a lot of votes for unquestionably hot 50 and 60 somehtings like Sigourney Weaver and Susan Sarandon, but Sofia Loren is SEVENTY and still looking pretty dang fine (I’m not sure how old you are, but she may actually qualify as a GMILF)

Damn, I forgot Sophia was still alive! I think she’s going to be the winner - 70, and a GMILF!

I was going to vote for Morgan Fairchild and Ann Margret, but they’re both only 55 or so.

Here are some recent pics of Barbara Eden, who is also 70.

I nominate Emmy Lou Harris and Raquel Welch.

She’s only 55 and is as plastic as Barbie but Morgan Fairchild still makes me salivate, even in those moronic Old Navy commercials.

Gates McFadden, even though she isn’t that old.

Rawr.

I’m not sure if one would classify her as “hot” but I find Diane Keaton to be extremely attractive. I believe she’s 58.

Lee Radziwill.

Saw her on Larry King awhile back and was struck by how charming, poised and attractive she was.

Back in 1991 when I was working as a stage director in a community Performing Arts Center, Rita Moreno came and performed.

Take a look at that picture and realize that Ms. Moreno is now 73 years old.

She was also Honorary Mayor of my hometown, and when I was introduced to her at the theater, I addressed her as “Your Honor.” After I explained, we shared lunch and had a good talk about the old hometown, then our work together went more smoothly than anyone I’d ever directed.

Fine woman.

And a very sharp tongued one (in a good way). She was on Leno a few years back and pretty much ripped into the kind of hypocrasy which is so rampant in Hollywood. Leno obviously enjoyed hearing her say it, and kept feeding her lines to keep her going.

I posed a question to my friends in college five years back: if you could have sex with Lena Horne, NOW, and brag about it, would you do it?

You never saw so many 20-25 year olds mull over a question so carefully-- ever.

I’m not sure if that’s a testiment to Ms. Horne’s timeless beauty or just how guys like having bragging rights with famous women. But there ya go.

Ann-Margret has to be pretty high on that list; she’s 63, and never looked better.

And what is it exactly they were mulling over? The question seems pretty cut and dried to me.

Of course, I’m well into my forties. Maybe that has something to do with it.

**Julius Henry. ** Becuase I’m an ass, I posed the question while some guys’’ girlfriends were standing right there, and then I called them out on thinking about it too long.

Man, I’m right there with you with Lena. The woman takes care of herself and she’s still got her own teeth. Hell, some things might be better without teeth.

I second the nominations for Rita Moreno and Rachel Welch.

Tina Turner still has the killer legs. Hmmmm. (Mimes throwing legs over shoulders while humming ‘Nutbush’.)

I was crushin on Barbara Hershey in the '60’s when she starred on, The Monroes.
she still catches my eye…

Have you read Robert B Parker’s Double Play, Askia? Set in 1948, where a white PI becomes bodyguard to Jackie Robinson as he tries to break into out of the Negro Leagues and into Major League baseball? There are interspersed running chapters by a narrator {Parker himself?} recalling his youth during the period, and against the racial backdrop of the era he recalls earnest discussions with his white Catholic classmates about whether or not they would “have” Ms Horne. Excellent novel.

{Completely off-topic, have you checked out the current “Earthsea” thread? Your trenchant views on black wizards {that is, Wizards Of Colour, not evil ones} might come in handy.}

I would do Stockard Channing in a heartbeat.

She is 60.

Not as old as many of the others here, bu at 50 Rene Russo is still looking pretty damn good.
