500 lbs of muscle using steroids?

Without regard to health and without regard to supply is there an upper limit on building muscle using steroids? I'm sure there must be some limit the body sets if based only on the ability of the heart to keep pumping, the skeleton to support weight. About what is the upper limit for building muscle using steroids? Anybody know?

Considering the widespread use of steroids I'm fairly certain someone out there has engaged in the above described deadly practices and hit the gain limit --- However I can't imagine who that example might be.

Steroids don't create muscle, they allow muscle mass to be added faster and with less work. There probably is an upper limit but not for the reasons you describe.

There are mechanisms that regulate muscle growth that steroids don't affect. Ronnie Coleman is probably pushing the limit, and IIRC even he doesn't top 300.
