There's a seafood restaurant at The Block At Orange called The Market Broiler. I had the monkfish there once, and it tasted very much like lobster. I know they grill their fish, but I don't know what else they do to it.
I have some monkfish in the freezer. (Thanks, Trader Joe's, for having it at such a good price!
) I cooked some of it my simply broiling with butter, and I've also tried pan-frying it to sear the outside and then broiling it. It didn't come out as good as Market Broiler's. Now I'm down to my last pieces.
How do I cook the monkfish to make it taste like lobster, as they did at Market Broiler? Should I fire up the ol' charcoal grill?
