Where is my mind??
I had a stack of bills piling up on my desk, waiting to be mailed. I could not mail them because I could never seem to manage to get to the post office before they closed. I was also too forgetful to order stamps online.
Today I went to the PO to buy stamps, skipping a class in the process. Whilst I was standing in line, a vague memory popped into my head of me standing in line there in the not-so-distant past. I could not for the life of me remember what I had been doing there, but I was pretty sure I was out of stamps. After I paid for the book of stamps with my debit card, I opened my wallet to put the receipt in. What did I find? A book of stamps, missing two of them from the two envelopes I mailed last week when I bought stamps. I'm too young to start doing this.

But I sympathize with the OP. I'm young and recently I've been doing all kinds of stupid forgetful things. I'm lucky I have a batch of patient professors this quarter. |
