Christopher Walken for President

Link.

I didn’t read too far into it because I kind of hope that it’s true and didn’t want to find out otherwise.

Although we’d finally get a State of the Union address that was worth watching.

I must say that with Walken for president, terrorists would crap their pants the instant he gave a speach saying what the US was planning on doing to them. That’s something.

His campaign needs more cowbell.

His campaign poster, however, rocks. http://www.walken2008.com/walken_poster.pdf (.pdf alert!)

If he had Dennis Hopper as a running mate, he’d have it sewn up.

What? No Walken tag or link at FARK?

Those guys are sleep today!

So far, only World net Daily has confirmed this, so until further news I’ll file this under :UNLIKELY:

If he’s even half-serious about this, he needs to come up with a far more comprehensive “platform,” especially crucial because he’s such a political newbie, with who knows what convictions. The three brief musings on the site won’t satisfy anyone.

OTOH, if he does plug away at it, this could become a career windfall for Kevin Pollak and Jay Mohr…

The…terrorism. Don’t…make me…tell you…again about…the terrorism.

But then he’d be embroiled in a scandal when they find that he’d invite a parade of women to the Oval Office, offer them “sham-pan-ya,” and show them the erotic Hummel figurines he got on eBay.

Maybe we can get Fats Domino out of retirement to sing the campaign theme song!

“I’m Walken”. Just in case there’s anybody on the planet who doesn’t know.

These booths were made for Walken, and that’s just what they’ll do …

It definitely seems like a hoax to me, albeit a well executed one. Among other things, “Walken” failed to mention what party’s nomination he was seeking or to say he was running as an independant.

I think Samuel L. Jackson should be his running mate.

He’s always great on SNL. One of the funniest things I saw him do, was during the opening monologue. He said they told him to do whatever he wanted, so he broke into a song-and-dance routine. I still laugh about that one.

An actor for President of the United States? Let’s not be silly.

Here’s a better campaign poster

What’s with the cowbell?

I don’t know, but I want to see more of it!

Here you go.

I got a fever! And the only prescription IS MORE COWBELL!!

I’m not trying to start a political debate here, lord knows I don’t want it. But with the current crop of 2008 hopefuls I might actually vote for him. Depends on his VP of course  (Go Samuel!)

As for his song and dance, he’s always looking to incorporate a song and dance into his movie roles, apparently its one of the things he generally loves to do.
