Halo movie news

The movie based on the video game Halo has some BIG news.
They have some executive producers. Namely Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh.
Now the EP job is pretty nebulous, can mean having virtually nothing to do with the movie to being a major player. What is eve better news (IMHO) is that WETA is involved in mkaing props and such.

Actually, I always thought Halo had the potential to be a pretty good movie, easily the best video-game movie. It actually has an interesting story, and with the right people palying the Master Chief, the holo-girl, and the voice of that floating ball thingy, it cold be decent.

But, odds are, like all movies from video-games, it wll suck a fattie.

Bungie still owns a little control over the movie's final presentation and they have said the Master Chief's face will never be shown.

So conceivably they could use the voice actor from the game...

Actually, I'm hearing that the DOOM movie is pretty good.
