Pretty tough. For about 8 years, I hated RMN with every fiber of my being, and I ate lots of fiber.
But for some reason I’ve yet to understand, I had an specially virulent loathing for Edwin Meese, a hatred the extended to his wife, his daughters…indeed, the entire clan!

And the sad part is we aren’t being sarcastic. It used to be the law and press were powerful enough to remove SOBs like that from office. Nowadays, the law and press have no influence at all against evil. Heck, the press is evil.

I would. But you weren’t necessarily asking me. At least now that Strom Thurmond is gone. THERE was a winner. I guess Cheney has more power & can therefore enact more evil, whereas Thurmond was a bigot jackass, but just a senator.
Which is to say that, even is Strom wanted to perpetrate more evil than Cheney, he wouldn’t have been able to, because of position. Strom, as a person, might have been a bit worse. He hated a giant chunk of America with staggering vitriol, while Cheney seems to be less hateful, but more insidious.
