How do I remove waterspots from my windshield

I made the mistake of parking my car next to a apartment building whose lawn sprinklers water the street more than the lawn last night. By the time I got to my car in the morning the water had dried and I now how a windshield full of hard water spots that won't just squeegee (sp?) off.

Anyone know what I should do, the water spots make visability a little tough.

Here are a couple of suggestions I thought of right away:

1. straight vinegar
2. Lime Away
3. Windex
