Hey, they're reshowing classic 'Bloom County' strips for free on the web

They were charging for this previously, I think. I guess that didn’t work out.

(Todays the strip where a major character is introduced, but I forget her name)

It’s Miss Harlow! Bobbi Harlow was the kids’ teacher, and Cutter John’s girlfriend.

Ack!

Thbbbt!

We have a new guest with the username Bill The Cat. He will probably cough up a hairball in delight.

I think I will add this to my daily comics list. This will put me at 4.

Thank you for the heads up.

Jim

“Ah! Gun control! … Ow! Socialized medicine!”

This is good news. Next to Calvin and Hobbes, this is my fav comic.

“Nice science project, where’d you get the radioactive material?”

“I scraped the luminescent material off of 1,385 glow in the dark watch hands, Kaboom”

“Ok everyone, FIRE DRILL!!!”

Cool your jets. I put the safety on.

Ahhh when Breathed was funny.
“He says he understands everything now”
“Tell him I’m still looking”

I love Bloom County and there are a few comics there I’ve never seen before.

If you subscribe (I did just for this strip), you can search the archives all the way back to the beginning. They also offer The Academia Waltz - the prehistoric Bloom County. They are currently featuring Outland - the ill-fated successor to Bloom County.

I have found that not all the strips are available. They even encourage people to send them the missing strips. I figured there are about 100+ strips that are missing.

A phrase I still use to this day!

I want to thank you again Revtim. I have been reading Bloom County Daily now.
My comic list is now FoxTrot, Bloom, Dilbert & UserFriendly

Thank You,

Jim

My pleasure jrfranchi! I also have FoxTrot, Bloom, and Dilbert on my daily list, and I’ll check out UserFriendly.

YAY! Bloom County!

Thank you so much. I had no idea this was out there. Who needs to do homework? I’ve got Bloom County.

http://www.userfriendly.org/ is a computer geek web comic, but it allows you to catch up on the entire run from 1997 to today. They are very funny with many references to Cthulu and even a few for Bloom County.

Chiming in with a thanks for the heads-up. I am re-reading, with great pleasure, the Bloom County strip. I loved it then, and still do!
