The long due Darwinia thread

I got it when it came out on Steam - and have been "loving it" ever since. Extremely original considering how alike strategies have gotten recently. The only downside I've found so far is a division by zero error that comes up on the temple level. So what did other dopers think of it?

P.S. Did anyone else notice that if you play on xmas day the darwinians wear little santa hats?

Would I be correct in guessing the subject of this thread has nothing except a title in common with the novel by Robert Charles Wilson?

I guess. That's certainly why I opened the thread, though.

I don't mean to dig up a six year old thread but I'm going to...

Darwinia+ was released on the Xbox this year (2011). There are multi player options which are pretty tough. Has anybody played through the multi player levels?

Darwinia+ is simply Darwinia with multiplayer options and Xbox Live multiplayer options.

This seems more like a Game Room thread than a Cafe Society thread. I'm guessing it popped up here because it's a zombie thread that predates the creation of the Game Room ... but I bet you'd get more responses in the Game Room.
