I had it my head to remember to wish you a happy feast day yesterday, but this ancient mind forgot. Hope it was happy!
My name day is March 28, for Gundelindus, aka Gwendoline. She’s German, but I was always told that Gwendolen is Welsh for white. And in fact a different saint “Saint Gwen” is also called Blanche or Candida. Perhaps the name could have moved around?

Anyhoo, my mom always made me a cake on my name day.

mine is sept. 30th. i get gummi bears and get to do whatever fun thing i want to that day. after church, of course.

Just a word of thanks for the thread. The day was nothing special – my usual day. My wife made spaghetti for dinner (I have no idea how my namesake would have reacted to that!).
