Wrong Use for Stems?

Is it wrong for me to feed weed stems to my hamster? Why or why not? Are they devoid of THC as I've always thought? They're smallish and kinda woody which makes me think they'd be good for his teeth.

Stems are not devoid of THC. The entire plant has some amount of THC. A lot of people smoke finely cut up stems or use them for cooking, you need more but not significantly more. Don't ask me how I know this, I plead the 5th.

However, if hamsters are like other mammals THC will just pass and will not get absorbed simply because it is not water-soluble and needs to be dissolved in fats (or alcohol) to get absorbed.
