Women might have done those things if not systematically denied the opportunity, in practically every culture more technologically advanced than the mesolithic, to do anything but “women’s work.”
In my experience women are the intellectual equals of men except in one or two minor areas. I’ve noticed women have a hard time giving or receiving directions – especially directions involving “north” and “south” rather than “left” or “right.” Maybe our male hunter ancestry fits us better for that kind of thing, I dunno. But it’s a trivial thing on which to base any all-encompassing male chauvinism.
