So say you had a cold and your nose occasionally gets blocked. What if someone put duct tape over your mouth and then strapped you down so you couldn’t take it off. Would you eventually be able to force yourself to breathe through your nose or would you die of asphyxiation?
I think it alld depends on how much your nasal passage is blocked, and how. If it’s from mucus, maybe you could snort and convulse in your panic enough to clear it some. If it’s blocked from swollen membranes and sinuses, to a bad degree, you might not be able to clear it at all.
I know that I have been congested severely enough that if you duct taped my mouth, I would have just died, no doubt about it.
