Big Brother All Stars: Finale (spoilers ahead)

Well, I was surprised that there was no thread on this, so here goes:

I was not surprised at the outcome, but the last few minutes sure were uncomfortable to watch. That scene where Allison is asked what she would like to tell Erika, and then they put her on live audio and play the montage of scenes in which Boogie slams Erika, calls her a Ho, and all that stuff was NASTY! Erika appeared never to recover, and once the winner was announced, her and Mike had no visual, verbal, or physical contact. Se was an afterthought, so much that Julie barely got in an "Oh, and Congrats Erika" as the credits began to roll."

Loved the show this year. Will and Boogie carried the entire season, and their phone calls were priceless. It was great that the jury got to see some of their antics. Hope to see them on TAR.

Goodbye to one of my summer guilty pleasures!

I predicted that Boogie would win, but I didn't think it would be by that large of a margin. The biggest shocks to me were that Howie and George voted for Mike. Especially Howie. I didn't think there was any way in hell he'd give Boogie his vote. I figured it would be Howie, George, and Marcellas voting for Erika, and Janelle, Will, James, and Danielle voting for Boogie.
Big surprise that Janelle won the viewers' choice $25,000. Or not.
That stuff with Erika was pretty hard to watch. However, I don't think Allison should really be the one to criticize Erika for the stuff she did on the show. I mean, after all, isn't she the Big Brother Hand Job Queen? Yeah, that's what I thought. Maybe she's just jealous that she got booted the first week and Erika got to be the Allstar Ho.
Nakomis looked really cute last night and it was of course nice to see Kaysar again. He should be on TV all the time. Jase's hair looked like shit.

Prior to last night's episode, my wife and I figured that Boogie would win by a vote of 4-3, with Marcellas, Howie, and either George or Danielle voting for Erika. However, during the segment where the jury was allowed to ask questions of the final two, it seemed that the vote would be a bit more lopsided than that. Boogie just seemed to handle himself so much better during the questioning, and you could really tell that he finally swayed Danielle with his answer to her question. Erika just seemed to be grasping at straws, and she seemed way too proud of the fact that she played a part in getting rid of Will.

However, I did not think that the vote would end up

SPOILER:
6-1 in Mike Boogie's favor, although I am glad that he won!

The part at the end of the episode where they played James' comments about Janelle for all to hear was brutal, as was the segment where they played many of Mike's comments about Erika. Brutal, but highly entertaining...

That was the only thing she had to go on though. I mean, what else did she do really? She rode Danielle's coattails and then when Chilltown made her get rid of Dani, she rode Boogie to the end. Her big—and only—accomplishment in the house was convincing Janelle to get rid of Will.

I was surprised by margin of the final vote, but not the outcome. Boogie's speech was excellent and he basically said: "I played you all, that was my strategy, and I succeeded." Erika basically said, well, nothing.

I wouldn't give Boogie too much credit. He was pretty hopeless in there by himself. He made it through by being Will's toadie. It wasn't Chilltown's game, it was Will's game.

Neither of them really deserved to win.
Like James said, it should have really been Will and Janelle as the final two, master manipulator and master competition player.

I couldn't agree more, Hampshire, and I think many people feel that it should have been Will and Janelle. (Nakomis said that last night too.) That would have made the vote really interesting, as someone here pointed out a few weeks ago, becuase the jury would have had to choose between the player who was the best at strategy and the player who was the best at competitions. Tough choice there.
