Ah, Bandes Desinées. Looking here, I recognise one of the author's other creations, Les Quatre As, but with regard to female characters, I recall being more interested in Aria and Axa (probably NSFW if you do a search for it), and the family with which I stayed had three sons. But we're talking 25-30 years ago, and I don't recall that far back too well.
