You Are A Demi-God: Who is your Divine Parent?

I am, as anybody who has ever met me will gladly testify, a Demi-God.
That is, the offspring of a God & a Mortal, foolin’ around.
My parents are Zeus & Mary Tyler Moore.

Obviously.

This should not suprise you–Cecil Adams has proclaimed his Divine Nature openly, TubaDiva as well ( ), & the Mods have hinted broadly.

Sadly, we were alone. :frowning:

But then, an insightful thought graced my Enlightened mind! Dopers are rather exceptional people! One or two of you may be above the hoi polloi, & be Demi-Gods yourselves.

So step up to the plate & identify yourselves!

Which Dopers are Demi-Gods, & who are your parents?
For the humor-impaied, this is a game.

Well my real name comes from the greek god of wine Dionysis so it’s only fitting that Carrie Fisher would be my mom.

Anyone who’s seen me knows that one of my ancestors must be Buddha…

Can I have Artemis, even though she was a virginal goddess?

I dunno… Tyr?

Dionysis was a busy [del]man[/del] god - when he was thru with Carrie, he met my mom - Bette Midler

Terisias and either Apollo or Artemis, depending.

Morpheus and a very special mortal woman. My username is an effective mask for my abilities.

You can’t be a demigod if both of your parents were divine.

Or if both of your parents were Divine. Which is an even better trick.

I am the son of Chione and Hermes. Respect biyatches.

Zeus and a very discomfited braised trake.

This might change. If I have to have a past, I’d rather it be multiple-choice.

In high school I wrote a report on Persephone, so I choose her. She mated with Marlon Brando and had me.

Loki and a stallion, baby.

My extra legs make me super fast.

Somwhere between lunch and breakfast

Poseidon spilt his tea

Then he met Tanya Streeter

And they made me
As you can see, my demi-god powers manifest themselves as webbed fingers and bad poetry

I am the offspring of Eris and Cecil Adams, so I’m like 3/4 divine.

Athena and Groucho Marx.

One of mine is probably Coyote. The human? I haven’t a clue, yet. I’ll have to think on it.

Heimdahl had a flawed child. He ended up here, typing away at this keyboard.

Apollo and Elton John. Where do you think he drew inspiration for his first single from Caribou, later performed with George Michael? (He changed it around slightly so the connection wouldn’t be too obvious)

So you’re just enough then?

As for me? Cthulu and Andy Warhol.

…yeah, their friends told 'em it was a bad idea.
