Recommend Me a Free Flash Game

I need some free time-wasters in the coming weeks. Share your favorites.

I’ll start with Burger Restaurant, which I found surprisingly hilarious at the later levels.

Boomshine, Fancy PantsJay is Games has tons of 'em reviewed and linked. You should also check out Samorost 1 & 2.

May not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I love Aces Up.

Desktop tower defense. Don’t blame me when you’re fired.

www.orbitzgames.com has quite a few worthwhile games, most involving skill.

There’s something to note about http://jayisgames.com/ (one of Achren’s recommendations): the current banner itself is a small game custom-made for them by Rob Allen, the author of the Hapland series.

Thanks a lot Mangetout. I love this game you mentioned.

Pretty neat, but it seems that this site has very high-quality games on it too…

These are Japanese. some are a little hard to figure out, but most are fun.

Now maybe some of you math types will come prove me wrong, but I have a friend doing his math PhD (and has actually done some knot theory), and he had trouble with it.

Here ya go: http://digg.com/playable_web_games

These are ranked by Diggs (votes.) They usually are good games, plus you can read the commentary of other Digg users about each game.

Well, I haven’t been fired, but I did stay up about 2 hours past my usual bedtime last night. Thanks a lot. :stuck_out_tongue:

pogo.com has a lot of games.

If you’re a fan of point-and-click adventures, I recommend Milkogame. It’s fairly long and the graphics are pretty good for something a few years old.

Oh man, I had completely forgotten about Orisinal! I used to play those games every day (for about 20 minutes, they’re very fun but tedious past a point).
