Can someone solve the tutorial of the world's hardest online puzzle?

There are five levels in the tutorial of the Tim Tang Test (the site has music.) The first four levels I figured out, but the fifth is driving me nuts.

Can someone help out?

Pretty lame… it seems the answer should be ^, or kara+, or something similar, but I can’t get it. :frowning:

I thought about this one for a bit. It would be a carat, but they were looking for what it means in mathematics.

(Quick search on how to make a spoiler…)

I tried ‘power’ first, which was incorrect, so I tried ‘exponent’. Success!

It has to be the name of a math symbol. You were so close.

Have you guys started the puzzle? I got stuck on 4, with the pond and Yahoo on top and Jeopardy at the bottom.

I figured that one out.

What’s missing is a !, which is the symbol for factorial.

I thought the hardest puzzle was Not Pron, which requires knowledge of things like what Twix used to be called in Germany.

It’s so hard that it’s kind of pointless.

The paranoia this guy’s got over cheating has turned me off of this game. It had nothing to do with the fact that the obvious answer didn’t work for level 1.

Huh? The obvious answer worked for level 1… it was just the last of the six possible permutations of 1, 2, and 3.

But you’re right, the disclaimers were kind of lame. Regardless of what he says, it’s not copyright infringement to talk about it or give spoilers anywhere. Sure, he can ban you, but I really don’t give a darn.
