Is there any "Bioshock" paraphernalia out there for purchase? Or any planned?

I'm in love with Bioshock - I already loved it, but after getting that certain part in the story last night, it's entered my top-10 OAT list. I basically just love everything about the game.

Are there any toys/comics/books/ANYTHING out there related to it, or is anything like that planned?

I know from whence you speak. I'm seriously considering constructing a "Big Daddy" costume for this Halloween.

Aww shucks.

Just get the 7 feet tall Big Daddy Statue and you will be alright.

There was, available for download, a high quality PDF art book. It apparently contains spoilers for the game, so I've not looked at it. I stopped playing that and Assassin's Creed because I was getting my HDTV, have finally got my HDTV, and have not gone back to them yet.

Of course, the collectors edition came with a small Big Daddy statue, you did not say whether you had one of them already or not. It should be noted also that some of the statues came broken, and not only were they replaced by Take2, they were also sent out with a hard cover copy of the above mentioned art book.

I would suggest that it might take some time for real quality figures to come out. Sometimes they are planned with the game, like Assassin's Creed. Often, like the God of War and Castlevania figures, they are a couple of years behind, while prototypes are made and approved etc.

It still burns me that I didn't get in on the Limited Edition of Bioshock that came with a Big Daddy action figure.

Don't forget to dress your daughter (or some random kid off the street if you're lacking in offspring) accordingly.
