Got any ----->------>--- in the stock room?

Roommate just walked out of my life and I think that would be the most appropriate one now. Or can you make a mixed-up bouquet? That's probably more appropriate, one for every emotion I feel right now - though I'm not sure how the happy orthodox Jewish guy would fit in.

Hmmm..

Sure I'll take one. Why not, eh?

Moderator's Notes:Well, that's obviously faked, Madhatter. Your post was edited prior to it's initial submission? Good fuckin' trick.

Now, don't ever do that again or I'll really come down hard on ya. Got it? Good.

Per UncleBeer's comments . . .

In addition, mods these days usually make some note of what they're deleting, and the "edited by" bit isn't in bold.

Can I have a surprised one? I'm confused about MadHatter now. Did he get banned just because he pretended he was making moderation notes?

WOW Zenster...I'm impressed.

screech-owl...I'm sorry about your roommate. I don't carry any unhappy flowers because they are just too depressing. Besides, you need to cheer up....things can only get better. Take two!

"How will she love, when the rich golden shaft
Hath kill'd the flock of all affections else
That live in her; when liver, brain and heart,
These sovereign thrones, are all supplied, and fill'd
Her sweet perfections with one self king!
Away before me to sweet beds of flowers:
Love-thoughts lie rich when canopied with bowers."
--Twelfth Night, Act 1, Scene i

As much as I despise smilies, I really hate to muck up a nice thread like this talking about jerks, but, no Welfy, Madhatter was banned for refusal to follow the rules of this board and continuous sniping in inappropriate forums about the actions of the moderators. We're also banning his latest incarnation of this morning, Inhuman Tacky Toad, which is an anagram for manhattan is a dick. Please don't worry about it.

I apologize for the intrusion; back to your regularly scheduled sweetness and light. Thank you.

jjjfishe, you could always give him a "cold-prickly," which is a seed from the sweet gum tree. A cold-prickly looks like this: *
(Yeah, I know it ain't much, but that's what they look like.)

I, your humble swain and most undeserving admirer, am not worthy of such beauty and sweetness. But let me find a worthy owner of such rare beauty. By that, I mean, of course, the incomparable jjjfishe!

--->------
------>-----
"For you there's rosemary and rue; these keep Seeming and savour all the winter long: Grace and remembrance be to you both"

--->-->----
--->->---
"Not yet on summer's death, nor on the birth Of trembling winter, the fairest flowers o' the season Are our carnations and streak'd gillyvors"

--->-->----
------>------
------->-->----
--->-->--->--
--->--->--
"Here's flowers for you; Hot lavender, mints, savoury, marjoram; The marigold, that goes to bed wi' the sun
And with him rises weeping"

-->-->---
"Daffodils, That come before the swallow dares, and take The winds of March with beauty"

-->-->----
"Violets dim, But sweeter than the lids of Juno's eyes
Or Cytherea's breath"

->-->---
--->--->--
Pale primroses That die unmarried, ere they can behold
Bight Phoebus in his strength"

--->-->----
------>------
------->-->----
--->-->--->--
"Bold oxlips and The crown imperial; lilies of all kinds,
The flower-de-luce being one!"

All quotes from The Winter's Tale, Act 4, Scene iv. Shakespeare must truly have been thinking of the lovely jjjfishe when he wrote such a scene.

A few more for you:

--->------
------>-----
--->-->----

"Thou shalt not lack
The flower that's like thy face,
pale primrose,
nor The azured harebell,
like thy veins,
no, nor The leaf of eglantine,
whom not to slander,
Out-sweeten'd not thy breath"
--Cymbeline, Act 4, Scene ii
