I seem to get a lot here and a lot of Obama / Clinton featured videos on Youtube, more and more out of context to what I am viewing at the time.

This could be coincidence due to the closeness of the election.

But then again, I'm in Indiana so it could be targeting.

Targeting. Google can figure out your rough geographic location from your IP address and pick adverts based on it.

Though, in retrospect, it wasn't the smartest question I've ever asked, of course they are.

One of the Google ads I got at the bottom of this thread was entitled "Google Ads"
