Old Radio Station on West Side
When I lived on the West Side prior to late 1937 there was a radio station East of Madison Street and just west of Garfield Park and near the old Paradise theater.
Does anyone remember the call letters of that station? W _ _ _ Thanks for your help! |

I don't know about 1937. I do remember Ray Nordstrand, head honcho at WFMT, telling me when his station was started in the 1950s it broadcast from the Graemere Hotel, which I think was at 3400 W. Washington:
