curious about the end of the old WoD

So, I just heard about the official-unofficial end of the old World of Darkness, as per the New Bremen digi-chat online text-based game. It sounded rather epic, from what was listed on Tv Tropes. Was anyone here involved in it? Are there write-ups of what went down? Does anyone know what became of the Nuwisha, in the end? Or how it is that Ascension finally happened? What happened in the final battle against the Wyrm?

In general, I'm curious. If any of you were there or know what happened, I'd love to hear about it.

Thankee,

IIRC the end was multiple choice depending on what adventure the ST picked. For Vamp, one of the possible outcomes was that the Tzimisce antedeluvian consumed all of humanity.

I think you're talking about the books that were released as supplements to cover the end-times. That came from Gehenna, if I remember correctly. What I'm curious about is the semi-official chat game, which dealt with all of the venues in turn and, from what I'd heard, had some sort of end for each of them. Considering the quality of Ascension (which is best not mentioned in polite company), I was very curious about what they did about it all, especially having heard good things.

I believe each line had a final novel published. I don't know, however, if they totally went along with one of the sourcebook possibilities, or if they were compatible in any way with each other.

All I remember (possibly inaccurate) of the Werewolf scenarios was that in one of them, the hengeyokai Beast Court was "taken over" by the faction that wanted to hurry up the Apocalypse, to sooner get to the other side.

That's interesting. I'd heard that the Garou actually won in the final battle against the Wyrm, myself.

In the novel, yes. I believe it was one of those "everyone's dead, but there's a ray of hope for the future" endings.
