I've spent time in Texas on various camping trips over the years, and I've always enjoyed myself. I've camped from the Guadalupe Mtns to Balmorhea and Steven Austin State Parks to Big Bend and Padre Island. I even got to see the famous Marfa Lights!

What a great area of the country, with really friendly people wherever I've visited. Happy B'day, Lone Star State!
