Why are you so overjoyed? I'm not saddened by the decision. I was interested in the outcome of the merger, but it doesn't matter much to me personally. But I'm not nearly as thrilled as you seem to be. Why the extreme enthusiasm?

I hope that "wahoo" was sarcastic, romanticide. If not, why on Earth would this excite you so much?
Personally, it pisses me off. You think you see a lot of AOL commercials now? Just wait. I don't doubt that they audio CDs produced by the many record companies they own will all come with AOL CDs. Nor do I doubt that all of the damn cable networks they own will start playing constant AOL commercials (The sleaziest just got sleazier!!). I guess they can't play commercials on HBO, but they'll probably find a way to get some product placement into Sex and the City. Come to think of it, a half hour AOL infomercial would probably be more entertaining than that tripe, which, in terms of viewability while not masturbating, is about as entertaining as a soft core porno. Why don't they just call it what it is? Sluts in the City. But I digress... |
