Remember those threads about essential albums in each genre...

A while back on the Dope, some fine person was trying to catalogue essential artists/albums in every genre. I thought those were interested and wanted to peruse them again yet am having a hard time finding them as I can't think of the exact wording used. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks.
