Would it be illegal for me to catch a pregnant bald eagle, sedate it and kill the unborn birds because I didn’t think the mother would be able to take care of them?
Nope. Mainly because there’s no such thing as a pregnant eagle.
Q - What’s the difference between unlawful and illegal?
A - Unlawful is against the law. Illegal is a sick bird.
Do you have a permit?
Is this some kind of absurdly roundabout pro-life argument, with a patriotic twist?
Deliberate ignorance of law, bad science and bad analogy for an anti-abortion screed. Not bad for one sentence.
Please tell me the OP knows that birds lay eggs. Please?
If we are against abortion, must we also be against ham and cheese omelets?
It’s not a choice, it’s a chick!
But does eagle taste just like chicken?
If you know, you’re going to Terre Haute.
I bet it tastes more like freedom.
… which kind of tastes like chicken.
I would be inclined to think that, being a carnivorous scavenger, eagle is not likely to taste much like the grain-eating chicken.
auburntiger11, it woulkd be a good idea for you to return to this thread and explain what you intended with it.
Otherwise, I am going to shut this nonsense down.

I blame home schooling.
One of the funniest self-ownages I’ve ever seen.
[John Ashcroft]
Let the eagle score…but don’t let her have an abortion!
[/John Ashcroft]
Now that’s funny!
I do know birds lay eggs, contrary to what others think I know. As soon as I posted this I realized the horrible problem it had and knew I was going to get raped and you can see this has happened. I should have used another animal as an example or been more descriptive. Mabe I should have used a polar bear or a members dog.
Yes the point was about abortion. It seems to me we are placing animals lives above human lives. And I was wondering what the difference in these situations would be with the law and with what others believed to be right.
So, now that you’ve been “raped”, I assume we can count on your returning to this thread for at least the next 18 years?
