"Hat In Hand" - Time For Da Quas'
Y'all, I never thought this would happen to me, but it has.
Since being diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and not being able to work, I am having to watch every damn penny until my SSDI kicks in (if it ever will - it is such a long arduous process with much testing and documentation). It is for this reason I ask could someone pick up my membership here for me? It's going to expire soon and I will be relegated to guest status. I don't know what that all entails, but I sure would not want y'all to forget about me. As I have written many times before, I need this. It is such good "therapy" for me and you kids have kept me from "pulling the trigger" more times than I care to count. Consider it a loan, and send me an e-mail, so that I can re-pay when I can. And I think y'all know me well enough to know I will pay it forward when I can. I am sorry to have to ask, and before you ask, I paid for my WoW membership with my piggy bank money. I need to be in Azeroth too. ![]() Thank You Bill Last edited by Quasimodem; 06-06-2009 at 05:22 AM. |

And thank you, Johnny!
I knew you would have been there in the proverbial "New York Minute"! ![]() In another thread someone wrote something about "bad things happening to good people", and I think there's more of that these days than we realize. I just appreciate y'all so much! Bill

Just for the record, by the way, the way the Board's currently set up, non-paying guests can still post, start threads, and all the rest. So far as I know, the only differences are your title changes, your post count doesn't show, you can't use the search function (but Google works better anyway), and you see ads.

Would the post-count continue and would it show when one is able to pay, Chronos?

I'm sure you've figured it out by now, Quasi - we watch out for our own pretty carefully here.
I love this place. |

I'm not Chronos, but I'll tell you the answer is yes. In fact, you can still see your own post count as a guest in your profile, just like anyone else's.

Friends don't "owe" friends. ![]() Not ever. And you are my friend, as I am yours. Love, Bill
