The old post office

I hear rumors it's up for auction, after private/public interests have failed to turn it into a hotel, a retail endeavor, and numerous other proposals.

What can we do with this building? And, I apologize for my lack of research, but is it landmarked? I'd imagine not, if it's up for auction as my commercial real estate buddies tell me.

Seems a bit too bulky for condos.
