My Jack Chick Tract parody

Last night I got so annoyed at the latest tract by Jack Chick, The Bully, that I decided to spend five hours creating a parody of it. So I thought I’d submit it here for y’all’s entertainment.

Be warned - the language is NSFW.

Here you go.

The dialog and characters are inspired by Hogg, a novel by Samuel R. Delany.

NSFW is an understatement - hardcore gay porn isn’t that dirty! IOW, I loved it.

Thank you.

Bonus points to anyone who catches the Twin Peaks reference. (I couldn’t resist.)

Was it ‘Aces!’? (Which is something I saw, BTW.)

The Cthulhu parodies were interesting and creative however unfortunately I find this one plain offensive and semi-blasphemous (I’m religious).

Thanks!

Johnny, it was “Deputy Hawk!” I was amazed by the uncanny resemblance of the deputy outside the jail cell in that one panel.

Also why not quote from say the Satanic Bible rather then just keeping the footnotes from the Bible?

Missed that.

I’ve been thinking of re-watching Twin Peaks. Like one episode a week. But I think I’ll wait until it cools down a bit and gets darker earlier. Maybe brew some coffee and buy a cherry pie…

Maybe I’ll drive down to Snoqualmie sometime.

That show is the best television show in the history of television…ever…it will never be matched, ever. Everything about it is solid gold; better than gold, even, if there’s any metal that is better than gold. Every single actor is perfect. Every line of dialog is perfect, every note of Angelo Badalamenti’s ingenious musical score is perfect, and every camera shot is perfect. A show of similar quirkiness and intrigue will never be made.

Sometimes I hear people compare Peaks to “Lost.” No way, no how. Apples and atomic warheads.

My coworker asks me to turn the volume up whenever anything from the Twin Peaks soundtrack comes up in the shuffle on my iPod.

I think someone should do a version where where the Repentant Sinner converts to a Jim Jones-type cult instead of Christianity.

Parodying Jack Chick isn’t so much shooting fish in a barrel, as nuking sea monkeys in a Dixie cup. But it’s still fun.
