More Chicago Nostalgia - Treasure Chest

Anyone recall this store? I think it was on the south side of Randolph, between State and Dearborn.

The back half of the store had several 1960's era "video" games. The front half of the store had counters filled with magic tricks, games, etc.

yes, I remember that place as well as Shopper's Corner a few doors down the way. Always getting chased out of both places if not buying or spending money. Shopper's Corner had all the electronic gadgets and Treasure Chest had all the magic stuff. Remember the instant smoke product that would go on the fingers and when pulled apart would produce puffs of smoke. Check this blog out. http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/news...ut_not_qu.html
