Do ptocopy machines emit radiationh

The interlock on high speed Xerox machines had another purpose. The per copy charge was higher for single copies than multiple copies of the same page. Thrifty
secretaries learned to swap originals as fast as the copier would scan, thus fooling
the charging mechanism inence the cover down detector.
