Help me ID that early-90's FOX detective show

Ok, I remember an early-90’s detective show that I liked to watch on FOX when I was younger, but no one else seems to know what I’m talking about. It was on Friday nights (or maybe Saturday nights), lasted for only a season or two, and each episode ended with the detective (some cool guy in sunglasses IIRC) lining up all the suspects we met during the episode in the final scene and picking out the guilty party. He would also explain why they were guilty. There was some light comedy and maybe a few action scenes during the course of the episode.

Ring any bells? Google and IMDB have been no help.

New York Undercover?

No, it was earlier than that show. Also, it was mostly a comedy show, not a drama. The main characteristic of each episode was the final ten minutes when the detective lined everyone up and picked out the bad guy. This happened each time. The actor looked like Bruce Campbell.

Sledge Hammer! maybe ?

I doubt it. The whole parlor room scene sounds too cerebral for Sledge, which was more of an action hero parody than a detective hero parody.

Nope, wasn’t Sledge. That guy was blonde, wasn’t he?

Man, this is gonna drive me nuts.

Sounds like Likely Supects.

I think we may have a winner!

Anyone besides me remember it?
