Sorry I don’t like to disrespect the dead, but it’s too good a line to miss

Always one of my favourite commercials

RIP

Just last night on No Reservations, Anthony Bourdain made a comment about becoming the Tidy Bowl man, and asked if that job was available.

Sounds to me like it is…

I have to attend that funeral, just to hear the eulogy and the people trying not to laugh. It will be like a real life Chuckles the Clown incident.

Well, except he didn’t have an ironically catastrophic death like Chuckles the Clown. If I recall correctly, Chuckles had been costumed as a peanut and was mistakenly shelled by an elephant. Now if Resin had died in a boating accident…

Let the record show that several actors played the Ty-D-Bol Man, the most comically named of which was Larry Sprinkle.

(Curiously, Resin’s name doesn’t seem to appear in Web articles about the advertising mascot before this week, although none that I could see were properly sourced.)

Aw… poor little man in the boat.

Wouldn’t burial at sea be more appropriate?
