Anyone vacation at a "Dog Camp"?

I found out that there is a 'dog camp' owners can take their pet to, where they have events for the dogs, like agility training.

I found Glen Highland Farms "Canine outdoor adventures" in Upstate New York, and "Camp Gone to the dogs" in Vermont.

Anyone go to these? They cost about $1350 for 5-6 days, some more than others.

Are there more of these places in the US? What other kind of vacation is suitable for bringing a dog with (and the dog will enjoy it?)
