Do you have an Ooma home phone system device? In case anyone doesn’t know what it is, it’s a $200 box that somehow connects to your router that gives you phone service to all your home phones, kind of like Magicjack, but better, since it doesn’t need to connect to a computer. It’s supposed to have very good audio quality. You still pay monthly phone taxes, fees, and surcharges, but that’s all. I’m not ready to ditch my home phone just yet, but it costs more than my cheapo cell phone right now.
