A woman who likes younger men is a cougar- what's a younger man who likes older women?

Is there a specific term? I'm not talking about gigolos or hustlers or "dudes with mommy issues" but men who are legitimately attracted to women older than they are.

A younger man who is with an older woman is called a cub. I don't know that there is a term for a young man who is attracted to older women.

A bastard or the opposite of a bastard? It's so rare that it doesn't need a name yet, young men are not that picky as far as which age the woman is.

Don't know if it applies to the real world, but TV Tropes calls them Cake Eaters.

But that's because it calls older single women Christmas Cake. And older means over 25, as its an anime trope.

As funny as they may seem. Melon's and Mala's suggestions are actually pretty accurate.

TV Tropes, in my experience, is largely comprised of stuff someone made up and is hoping will become a common expression because he put it on TV Tropes.

since cougars have cubs then the obvious name for a young man looking for an older woman would be cub scout.

Wouldn't he be a gay dude looking to bang a guy whose mom is a whore? Kind of specific.

This. It doesn't matter whether the older woman actually has kids.

Cub is usually a term that is used from the cougar's perspective as I understand it. I don't think a guy who is into older women would refer to himself as a cub.

Some (most?) people think that a guy who likes younger women is a stud, but vice versa is a pervert.

Mmm no, not so much. Cub is a gay sex term.

Where I live they're called cubs, but it doesn't seem to be as well-established a term as MILF or cougar.

It's a very well-established term. It just doesn't mean what you think it means (see post above).

Thing is, when they have a very specific sexual connotation (especially when the far more commonly accepted meaning is a homosexual one) most people don't want to leave any room for confusion. If you look at the ratings on UD, the gay definition has 432 thumbs up and 129 down, while the "young man who likes older women" definition has 8 thumbs up and 17 down. Not popular.

So you don't read through the examples, or you misunderstand the point of the site.

In Japan, they are called swallows. I'm not sure of the nuances or whether it is in common use now.

I've heard and second "boy toys," although more precisely it suggests the male equivalent of "arm candy."

"She swallows."
So I guess he had his priorities straight.

I'm 22, my lady will be 29 in a few days, I was 21 when we started dating. I typically prefer women who are in this range (27-30). I've only been in a serious relationship with a woman close to my age once, she was 22 is now 23 and we still stay in age. I find I can go on a date or two with women who are close in age to me, maybe even mess around with them but it never gets serious.

Me and my lady often joke about the age difference, and at first it was a "thing" in our relationship but now not so much. Are we at different stages in our life: yes, do we work through it: yes. But really I love dating older women and me and her both are still big kids at heart anyways.

You're not at different stages in your life; you're both in your 20s. Different stages in life would be someone who is 29 dating someone who is 48, or someone who is 40 dating someone who is 24, both of which I did. 22 and 29? Puh-leeze.

If he is in college and she's settled then yes, they are at different stages.

I disagree. A lot of us make pretty significant transitions in our early twenties, what Erikson called a psychosocial moratorium. Even as late as 22, many people are still trying different senses of identity. At 29, most people have that figured out. It's a very significant difference in stage of life.

But I'll admit that it barely qualifies her as a cougar; she's a bit young for that, unless he were still a teenager. And in just a few years, the age difference would hardly be noticeable.
