Okay, I happen to agree with you about Silver Jan, so please don't shoot me. But this response and the logic it contains is little better than Visorslash's, which you've been railing against (as have I).

First off -- begging not to be killed is hardly a purely Townie act, is it? Wouldn't scum be pretty desperate not to be lynched too? That's just human nature.

Second, how the hell is Suburban Plankton supposed to know exactly what Silver Jan "oozes" in private conversations with you?

As I said, I feel as you do about Silver Jan, but I just thought your argument lacked cogent logic that would be likely to sway Suburban's POV. Should they? This may be my lack of much experience talking, but I don't see how. All we have to go by is our words. When I was in danger of lynching back in my first game, I overreacted and begged and so on. Er, okay, so I was town, and yeah this seems to back your point. But honestly, I don't see how I would behave differently if I ever get to be scum. (Dammit, seriously, future Mafia mods. Just once let me wear the black hat! It happens to be my best color.). When you say "acting like this" do you mean her last few posts, or the way she's been all game? Because if it's the latter (all game), I'll have to look back at Thrill of the Chase, but I don't remember her acting much differently as scum. BUT if you mean the former, as in, the last few posts and the blow-up with Normal, I don't think one can fairly use that to judge her either way, for reasons inappropriate to discuss in a game thread.

I'm just saying, yep, I think Silver Jan is Town too, and I'm hoping she'll survive this round, but I can see why Suburban Plankton is asking for elaboration other than "she wouldn't act like this as Scum," because I think we all know Scum are very capable of acting any bleedin' way they choose.

Anyway, I just hope this fracas dies down and we're all friends again just trying to lynch and attack one another as God intended.
