Washington DC Dopefest?

I will be in DC May 9-10, Wednesday and Thursday. I'm pretty open to locations and time- I don't have to be anywhere or do anything until Friday.

I will be staying in a houseboat on the Potomac near the Tidal Basin, so I can host a party if anyone is interested. But if anyone has a great place with great food to suggest, I can be there, too.

I was just talking to F. U. Shakespeare (who I occasionally run into in real life) about doing a local Dopefest. I'm interested.

Argh. Plans have changed (what else is new!) and I will not be in DC this week.

I will be in in Indy however on Thursday, so if you all want to make it there, it's only like a ten hour drive.....

I just started working in DC regularly and got all excited. Indy sucks; you will have a horrible time.

For those of us here, I don't really know my schedule well enough yet to plan anything, but could certainly be persuaded to consume a beer or three some time.

I've already paid for it in full. I'd be amenable to letting you guys use it, if someone is willing to take responsibility.

Not sure how the owners would like it, but I can be persuasive.
