Who won more in the past?

Eh everybody, so being this was one of the biggest dual’s of earth’s top predator’s who do you think won more in the past, the eye of the tiger, or the King of the beast the Lion?

Please only think of these as a hypotetical situation if you voice your opinion an be respectful to other’s who dont agree, an I’m searching for more of people’s knowledge of past event’s that way there’s no parley on animal conflict’s of geralizing the topic, but more of just learning of these 2 majestic beast past conflict’s for educatonal purposes only.

…I seen a african lion maul our adolescent male Siberian tiger to death. The adolescent was a year old. It is extremely sad that these fights are used for entertainment but at the same time I was awed to see one lion defeat two large tigers with all 3 animals in the cage at the same time.
-My teammates and I were transporting a male African Lion into a cage neighboring a Bengal Tigers cage in Kenya. There was a small opening in between the two cages for intermingling of neighboring animals. It was supposed to be closed at the time but someone forgot to close it. The lion sprang from the transportation container through the opening and mauled the tiger of similar size. We tranquilized the lion but it was too late. Two days later, the tiger died due to fatal wounds. It was a very one sided fight where the lion spent much time chasing the tiger.

I’m not going to research these cites to determine if they were fair contests. But I would have relied on Clyde Beatty’s observations even without them. I think it’s pretty clear that male lions are evolved for the primary purpose of killing rivals and predators. Tigers are much more solitary and more likely to flee than confront. Trapped in a fight with a lion their instincts probably work against them.

However, to be fair about this, I wouldn’t give a lioness a snowball’s chance against a tiger.

The Tigers have clearly won more, since they play 162 games a season while the Lions only play 16.

Wow it’s cool you know about Clyde beatty, but I would too give it a less chance of a lioness winning but it’s not impossible, I have presented around 7 account’s in that list of lioness’s holding there own an killing female an even male tiger’s, there’s a few more I know of I can show you of minor incident’s where a lioness tore up a few tiger’s, but I too would more favor the tigress over a lioness, about 5.5/10 for the tigress…again it’s not exculding the fact that there are record’s of female lion’s killing male tiger’s.

An I wouldent want to emit Bia’s ness but male lion’s have just to many variable’s an leverage’s in the wild to have a tiger as a threat, even 1 on 1 it’s still more of 8/10 for a male lion vs a male tiger. But I found maybe around 30 account’s of tiger’s killing lion’s but 80% of those 30 consist of male tiger’s killing female lion’s an the male’s of the 20% had no detail’s on there status. But so far compared to data alone, if there’s only around 30-40 account’s of tiger’s killing lion’s an a ittle over a 100 of lion’s killing tiger’s as I shown above some occaision’s the lion killed multiple tiger’s so again, by data alone it can only be fair to place it as 8/10 time’s a lion would win, the only way you’d be able to change that, is you’d have to match the 100 account’s to bring it to 50/50.

But with out data, an just throwing thing’s out there, I myself would like to think of it as fair game of 50/50 Prime male lion an Prime male tiger vs.

Indeed, though I’m confused, 90% of the site’s I have researched hasent provided the main stream society with the lion’s half of information, I only see site’s like Wiki, wordpress, jackjacksonj, difference provide very poor data for the lion’s side an cast there vote for the tiger winning upoun there very little data, it would seem so majority hint a repatwa of Bia’s implemation’s, I dont know but it would seem that way.

I mean how can can they say tiger’s won more in the past when 90% of the historical artifact’s potray’s the lion winning, there’s at-least a 100 account’s I presented in that 67 list of modern battle’s having the lion the winner an even in the past of ancient time’s they portrayed the same thing like here…

So again, I dont know where they can give a 8/10 for the tiger when the data contradict’s that 100% it’s more of 8/10 for the lion not the tiger. Hmmm, but again I guess people like to hide the truth in order to intice other’s.

But like I said, with out data of like those^^^ I would give it a 50/50, but the data is proving of a 80/100 for the lion.

That’s debate-able, but the I’m researching the more I’m finding out that the media has poor crdibilty an false claim’s, but I belive that they are roughly the same size’s, the tiger can just maintain being hevier more often. That dosent mean lion’s cant reach any weight the tiger can, here is what site’s like wiki try’s so hard to conseal, the fact that they gave a 300 pound advantage on wiki speak’s in how they just wanted other’s to think there’s a leverage, which in fact in a whole speice’s tiger’s only average around 430 pound’s as adult’s, an lion’s can match the heavy hitter’s as well…

I just stated my point…it was why is it 90% of the site’s out there have flase an random data? Is it Properganda, or is it just bad studying, I cant pin-point it but why wasnt any data presented for the lion’s side?

Wouldent you think that is un-fair if I showed you a Boxing man’s record of like 10-0 representing the tiger an the lion’s record 0-10…wont you think the average person would have just sided with the tiger just because of what you presented? Uh Huh! I would think so, but why no attempt to even keep the playing field fair? Again I only sense a purpose of intice-ing, not by educational purposes of what’s factual.

You see^^^ Some expert John varty is… an goes along with the other’s they alibied as in Big cat rescue, they said the team of big cat rescue, but it was only answered by 1 worker not the whole team which is way more than 300 people, an they all dident agree with that conclusion only the person who answered it, an still that person gave no specfic detail in what was the advantage. Same goes with china’s source of rewilding tiger’s only one person said the same thing.

Now, look at how poor there credability is, they have been debunked easly showing they are not creditable to answer such a question, when why did they only mention expert’s for the tiger’s side? When in reality there is way way more for the lion’s side, you wanna see some? Gladly…

If you ask me it’s not that much, I would call this a little above average of what you should know if you were to debate on this off-beat topic…but I wouldeve been able to in-triplicated my data quanity if I had a better computer, for my PC broke down a few month’s ago an this one I’m useing is not compatiable wirth the search ingine’s I wanted to use, like old new’s paper archive site’s or book site’s an Pdf file’s that contain cultural recording’s of these 2 beautiful an fericious beat.

That said, tiger by a mile. There is no way a lion could beat a tiger in a cage match. My cite is some Mutual of Omaha stuff I saw in the 1970’s plus observations in more than a few zoos and TWO different circuses. There is simply no way a lion is going to open up a can of whoop-ass on a tiger. The only things that can beat a tiiger in a cage match are a liger which is half tiger and half lion but kick-ass bigger than either of them, a polar bear, or a gladiator with a lover waiting. That is the real answer.

Wow it’s cool you know about Clyde beatty, but I would too give it a less chance of a lioness winning but it’s not impossible, I have presented around 7 account’s in that list of lioness’s holding there own an killing female an even male tiger’s, there’s a few more I know of I can show you of minor incident’s where a lioness tore up a few tiger’s, but I too would more favor the tigress over a lioness, about 5.5/10 for the tigress…again it’s not exculding the fact that there are record’s of female lion’s killing male tiger’s.

An I wouldent want to emit Bia’s ness but male lion’s have just to many variable’s an leverage’s in the wild to have a tiger as a threat, even 1 on 1 it’s still more of 8/10 for a male lion vs a male tiger. But I found maybe around 30 account’s of tiger’s killing lion’s but 80% of those 30 consist of male tiger’s killing female lion’s an the male’s of the 20% had no detail’s on there status. But so far compared to data alone, if there’s only around 30-40 account’s of tiger’s killing lion’s an a ittle over a 100 of lion’s killing tiger’s as I shown above some occaision’s the lion killed multiple tiger’s so again, by data alone it can only be fair to place it as 8/10 time’s a lion would win, the only way you’d be able to change that, is you’d have to match the 100 account’s to bring it to 50/50.

But almost all of that was with captive animals, as is the case with many of your cites. These cats would have likely been overweight which may be a big disadvantage to the longer bodied tiger. Keeping captive cats well fed was a safety measure. Clyde’s appraisal of tigers was that they were quicker than lions, and better coordinated being able to use both front paws in an attack while lions would fight ‘one handed’. But as I mentioned before, and noted in some of your cites, a lion is naturally more ferocious and dangerous, very territorial, and evolved for the purpose of attacking it’s foes. Lions also have a protective mane, and are more compact and densely muscled. Although neither animal is extremely intelligent compared to the brainiacs of the animal world, they were apparently clever enough to escape often. I recall Clyde found tigers more clever and dangerous to humans. Tigers also are at a disadvantage because they are more ambush hunters than lions are, who have to chase down their prey more often. They have just evolved differently.

One gun magazine long ago said the Romans in the Coliseum never bet on lion:tiger matches because the tiger almost always wins. Reason given was the tiger is a better two-pawed fighter while the lion delivers single jabs and hooks. But seeing so many Tarzan shows, I realized this wasn’t true. The lion is a two-pawed brawler, even on his back (better than any ugly-faced MMAer.)

But then, tigers tend to be bigger. The record for a biggest cat from the wild was a Siberian tiger (975 pounds?) This, however, is not an absolute record. The Guiness cited a number of cage-fat lions and tigers exceeding 1,000 pounds.

But I was intreseted in the fellow’s accumiltion’s of 2 circuses the tiger has won above you, I know of 30 the tiger has won, but that still isint anywhere close to the 100 the lion has won, so if I beat you up in the octagon 7 time’s an you only win 3 what make’s you think other’s would favor you as the better fighter? I dont know, but you are entitled to your own opinion an I comend you for it.

But I too would give it a 50/50 in the cage match, but in the wild not so much. The fact is lion’s live either in Pride’s or coalition’s. The biggest Pride ever recorded was 9 brother’s that shared 22 female’s…So the tiger still has to oblige by the Golden rule as any other predator that face’s the Pride…which is if the whole pride see’s you your ownly chance is to run, an even that’s not a garentee. There are solitary rouge lion’s but 80% of the time lion’s live in Pride’s or Coalition’s like these…

Word an text of recording’s is creditable of course, but nothing beat’s video pal, an to my knowledge there isint a single video of a tiger killing a male lion not 1, while there’s 3 for the lion, #1 is Gir forest, #2 The big cage with Clyde Beatty, #3 is That asian zoo where the teen’s mauled the adult tiger. An the kicker is there’s a little above 10 account’s of lion’s killing tiger’s in the wild of India, while there’s no record’s of such for the tiger winning a clean account documented like the Velar account where a wild lion killed a wild tiger at the Gange’s river in India.

Again I really am just scratching the surface here, who know’s later when I get a up-dated PC I’ll be able to quadruple the amount…just a theory.
