Precisely what I came in to post. I had heard that a sequel idea was being half-heartedly discussed, but that it had to do with Jack Aubrey's trial for stock-fixing. Bah! That would be the last storyline I'd choose for a movie.

Like you, I'd prefer to see espionage during the time of the Napoleonic wars.
The Reverse of the Medal is loaded with espionage, and sexual intrigue. And the trial story yields one of the greatest scenes ashore in the whole series--the Navy men protecting and cheering Jack when he is taken to the pillory.

Actually Crowe is now six years older than Aubrey was in that book--about the same disparity as before, accepting the movie's adjustment from the War of 1812 to the War of the Third Coalition.

Not so much a sequel, but I would like to know the story of the doubles in Sean Of The Dead

They took the longest, least interesting segment of the original and FAKKed it all up. Disappointing is not the word.

Or perhaps "Thirty Six Hours of the Turkey Vulture."

I can't decide whether a sequel to 10,000 BC should be 5,000 BC or 20,000 BC. Or maybe even 10,001 BC or 9,999 BC.

In the spirit of seeing if they can make BAD movies worse, I would like to see sequels to Independence Day and The Wicker Man (my personal choice for Worst Movie I've Ever Seen).

"Jumpers" but do away with Haydn Christensen. You can put in Erika Christensen.

All through fourth and fifth grade, I was waiting for the sequel to Mary Poppins and was very disappointed when nothing was forthcoming.

Watching it nowadays and recognizing Dick Van Dyke's terrible Cockney accent, I realize this was probably a good thing.

OH yeah. Remo is what I came in here to mention. And since they've already shown that the black ops group he works for can change your face and give you a new identity, they wouldn't even have to get Fred Ward to play him!

Do you think Wilford Brimley could be pried away from those diabetes commercials to reprise his Mr. Smith character, though?

Remo Williams
Buckaroo Bonzai
The Incredibles

Yup, I'd be on board for any of those as long as the casting didn't suck.

I really liked the sequel novel. It would have made a great movie. The WWC movie, while good, really screwed up the ending.
