One more victory for Pastafarians!

A student should be allowed to look as stupid as he wants in his photo. He may or may not get a laugh out of it later, but the rest of us will laugh forever.
I wonder if that’s colander?
That ID pic really does make him look like some kind of 'farian.
Wow, what an asshole.
I hope he doesn’t strain himself, or become a drain on the economy.
Pasta is a gateway food.
Good thing he didn’t do that in Russia.
Pastafarians no held in high regard there.
Would those laughing at him here also laugh at any other person with religion-specific headgear?
if not, why not?
I think he should be required to wear it at all times, since he’s made such an issue of it.
StG
I think Mr. Castillo totally fuckin’ rocks! Good for him, good for Pastafarians everywhere, and good for the officials who applied the rules and laws equitably here.
Or maybe he just has a sense of humor.
Eh, this is so 2011.
Pastafarianism is satire. It’s not a religion. Laughing at and/or with is not inappropriate.
Not possible. Colander was much too strident to be a man. Please she had no sense of humor.
I wore a colander when I was a kid.
Granted, I was claiming to be a Viking, not a Pastafarian.
Good for him. Others that don’t have a sense of humor can put it in their colander and drain it.
Absolutely; all of it is just silliness.
This. Other people who get religious exemptions to wear headgear in ID photos get them because their religion, which they truly believe in, requires them to wear the headgear at all times in public, even in official photos. If he actually wears the strainer at all times in public, then he should have been allowed to wear it in the photo. If it’s just a stupid stunt, than he shouldn’t have been.
