What does a healthy vagina taste like when performing oral sex? And is the odor of her vagina controlled by what she eats?

Please site reference.
Thanks

It varies. Sometimes like halibut; sometimes like cod; sometimes like tuna.

While there are plenty of folks willing to do the research you sitll have to do your own homework.

I've never found a healthy woman to smell or taste fishy.

If it's clean it shouldn't taste like anything.

The bacteria that men & women have down there is the same, I guess, its the environment that makes the taste/smell vary.

Bacterial vaginosis causes the fishy smell. We've discussed this a number of times on the board. It's not a dangerous bacteria, and this condition can be cured by a certain antibiotic.

1) Usually, not like much of anything.

2) Not in my experience.

My cherished Shakti Devi Yoni goddess keeps her Yoni scrupulously clean (she washes it several times a day), and by some miracle she is naturally without body odor anyway. Her Yoni taste is naturally sweet and luscious like a ripe fruit from a tree of Heaven.

Please allow me this language nitpick—one does cunnilingus on the vulva. The vulva is the outside of the Yoni. The vagina is the interior passageway. You may be able to insert your tongue into the vagina a short distance depending on the length of your tongue, but the real cunnilingus action is with features of the vulva, especially the clitoris. However, cunnilingus is really nice with a finger inserted into the vagina to caress the G spot. Gently, now, ever so gently.

Umm, JillGat, the OP was about "What does a healthy vagina.." Would you find that Bacterial vaginosis is "a healthy vagina?"

Delila, just by your user name I'm assuming you're a female.

If that's the case, and you plan on tasting women in the future, or if you're worried that you don't taste good for your boyfriend or girlfriend,

why don't you give yourself a taste the next time you're masturbating?

in things like the taste of your hooha, it's best to go right to the source!

Funny this thread should come along. I was just wondering if there were any- how to put this- "oral sex condiments" to enhance the experience. I've heard of using whipped cream and chocolate syrup- anything else that's good to put on your hot dog or furburger?

Vulva Helper? Meat Sauce? Damn, I'm a dev.

An old buddy of mine once told me that lightly-cooked salmon tastes exactly like pussy.

I'll have to take his word for it, though. I don't eat salmon.

Molly Ivins, in one of her columns about authors and product tie-ins, suggested that an appropriate tie-in for her books would be "Molly Ivins Barbecue-Flavored Vaginal Gel". I was listening to this on audiotape and almost drove off the road.

To clarify, I was responding to the posters who described a fishy odor coming from a healthy vagina.

My experience is limited to a number of women most humans could count on one hand, however the number of occasions must number in the thousands. Based on my sample set, a clean, healthy vulva doesn't really taste like anything. Maybe a bit salty sometimes at first, but that's just sweat or a harmless drop or two of... never mind. Just take my word for it that taste and odor should be inoffensive, if not downright pleasurable.

However, the healthy vagina will frequently taste ever so slightly metallic, especially once your partner becomes excited. Yes, it is possible to get your taste buds inside the vagina. I will leave the details as an excercise for the reader.

As for condiments, I will heartily discourage anyone from inserting anything inside a vagina that could serve as food for little critters that don't belong there. Sugars and dairy products will promote a yeast infection. (And whatever you do, don't use a pressurized can of Redi Whip on your girlfriend! Especially not before you've huffed all the nitrous out of it.) Meats can even cause nasty things like salmonella and e. coli infections, and even lead to a really nasty UTI. If you want to encounter a nasty smelling hoo-ha, make a habit of putting food in there!

Now there are some foods that folk remedies use to promote healthy vaginal flora, namely active culture acidophilus products, but you won't find many GYNs endorsing them, either. But if you must engage in food play, I recommend unsweetened active culture yogurt.

Now, that said, I've been told that peeled, seedless grapes are very erotic.

The only condiment I've ever used "there" is pure honey. Which inhibits the growth of bacteria, and for all I know, fungi too.

All seafood references are made by guys who have never tasted a healthy woman, trust me. I'm a connoisseur of both fish and quim; there is no similarity.
There is a subtle flavor and it does vary between women (fair- and dark-skinned/haired) and during the given monthly cycle. That iron taste gets strong around menstruation, as one would figure. Diet also affects flavor: one GF of mine was heavily into garlic. Happily, I like garlic, so it was no problem. There can be a slight saltiness, too-- but not if she avoids salt in her diet.
As noted above, the flavor intensifies with arousal. Now, what does it taste like? Sorry, but I can't describe it and do it justice. I mean, does chocolate taste like anything else? All I can say is that there's a kind of "womany muskiness" to it. It's just good.

Piece,
TN*hippie
