Who owns what?

I’ve been looking for a site that has some sort of “corporate tree” of what products/companies are owned by what other companies. (e.g. Jell-O is owned by Kraft which is owned by Phillip Morris, Taco Bell is owned by TriCon Global Restaurants which is owned by PepsiCo.). I couldn’t find any sight that had such a tree. I understand it would be massive, but it would be interesting if it were limited to, say, the 10 largest corporate entities or only consumer goods. Anyone know where/how I can find this information?

If you were wondering, it all stems from a joke I told a friend that everything you buy is from Coca-Cola, Phillip Morris, or Disney :slight_smile:

Hoover’s Online has some good capsules available for free, most of which will give you parent company info. It’s not in a tree structure, though. :slight_smile: You’ll have to actually search for the company you’re looking for and read the capsule.
