Youtube movie suggestions please

I am in a massive lethargic funk. My sweetie is away for the night and the lazy dogs are sleeping. I want to watch movies but there’s nothing on Netflix that I want to see. My only other option is Youtube.
I love horror and SciFi. I’m not even remotely interested in any comedies, romance, especially not romantic comedies. I am totally ok with foreign as long as the subtitles are decent (white subtitles on a light grey background is not good). Drama is good, especially if it has a supernatural tone to it.

So, what movie do you like that you know is available on youtube? I’m going to attempt to motivate myself to make some bread while I wait for you guys to save me from my boredom but most likely I’m just going to sit here and refresh the page every 30 seconds.
:o

The Boogens (1981) - monsters get released from a re-opened mine and enter peoples’ houses through underground tunnels!

Thank you! That was perfect.

Primer (2004) is a great watch. I checked to see if it’s still on YouTube–possibly just the trailer, now. I see that you can watch it free with a Hulu Plus trial, though.

Horror Hotel - Witches convene in a mysterious city. More atmospheric than gory, stars Christopher Lee in a minor but significant role.

Unfortunately I have already had Hulu, free trial and all. I got rid of it because they always had the same stuff as netflix and I don’t like paying to watch commercials. I’ll keep that one in mind in case it goes instant on Netflix. I know it was before.

Atmospheric is good. Thanks!

I still haven’t made bread but I did get the motivation to clean the kitchen. Baby steps.

Horror Hotel was very good! Thank you! It took so long to watch it because my wheat bread is on its second rise.

You’re welcome. Funny to hear Christopher Lee speak in an American accent, isn’t it?

It’s a British horror movie, so most of the actors are Brits. But it’s set in America, so they all speak, dress, and act American. What a hoot.

I didn’t even key in to the accent, I was too busy noticing him not being old! I’ve seen him in many black and white movies and he always looked old. I thought he was like Abe Vigoda, looking nearly dead for the last 50 years.

If you want a classic, try the 1937 version of King Solomon’s Mines, starring Paul Robeson.

Xtro is a movie that always comes up on lists of movies that you think would suck, but end up being really good.

Xtro(1983) - full movie.

The only full length movie I’ve ever watched on YouTube was Sleepaway Camp and I watched it because of a Thread I read here.

Thank you! This isn’t something I normally would have chosen but it was really good! Paul Robeson has an amazing voice but my favorite is Roland Young (I’m a Topper fan).

Unfortunately there’s no audio. I checked 2 others and they didn’t have audio either. I’ll keep an eye out for it though because it does sound like something I’d like.

Oh my! It’s the motherload!:eek::smiley:

That was a very strange movie. I had already had the end spoiled for me, unfortunately. But holy crap – Aunt Martha is the stuff of nightmares!
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Now I’m moving on to the list lissener linked. You all got me through a very boring weekend. My sweetie will be home soon!
