I think her voice, face, attitude, basically everything about her is so sexy. Am I the only one? Because to me, she's probably the sexiest person i can think of...

Feel free to mention someone that you feel this way about, even if it's not Bjork.

She's Bjork-tastic!!!!

If she married Robert Bork, she'd be Bjork Bork.

Chorus:
Ooohhhh Bjork, Bjork, were you brought by the stork,
Or were you created from butter and cork?
I love you so much that I act like a dork,
Oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork.

I was cruising the channelbox looking for Mork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork,
Or Fantasy Island with suave Mr. Rourke, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork,
The first time I saw her I near dropped my fork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork,
My heart spun around with incredible torque, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork.

Chorus

She's small and she's odd, like a lepton or quark, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork,
If I had her here with me, her love I would hork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork;
I'd follow her anywhere, LA to New York, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork,
But she's probably in Iceland, so that wouldn't work, oh Bjork, oh Bjork, oh Bjork.

Chorus

- from The Brunching Shuttlecocks.

No, but if your the lucky one who wins her heart, you'll probably be spending the rest of your life living in a Giant Mushroom house entertaining the forest animals while your wife spreads Magic Dust on the kingdom of the Elves.

I had a friend who, when describing someone who had that "lost-waif-fairy-from-another-planet" look about her, would say:

"She's like a female version of Bjork."

Still cracks me up.

I was going to nominate Bjork in the "Can't decide if they're atrractive or not" thread. Sometimes she looks quite shagable, other times she looks like she's stopped one train too many. Go figure.

She's more interesting-looking to me than sexy. I dunno. She's too "out there" for my tastes.

Gotta agree, I love that face, and the way she moves.
I think she has a problem with the bright lights of movie making, however, and she never opens her eyes so I can see them. Bet they are truly beautiful by candlelight!

Maybe I should send her a set of tinted contacts. Sunglass dark. Damn..then I couln't see her natural color. Oh, well..

Probably not the only one. I find her cute in a weird looking sort of way.

I have a friend who thinks she's cool.

She's never been raved about for her sexiness as far as I know, though. He likes the music and thinks she's cool in that unconventional freakish way.

I, however, find her a little too strung out for me.

Short Film "All Is Love"

The SciFi channel has a series, Exposure, that features
short films. The CGI short "All Is Love" features one
Bjork android engaging in sex with a second. It was not too
explicit, but some of the films on exposure are editted for
TV.

My guess is that the film would not have been so widly popular with fans, if they didn't find Bjork sexy.

Clarification

I do not mean Bjork having sex with just another droid.
The first Bjork droid explores the sensual pleasures of synthetic life with an identical Bjork droid. Two surreal, metal Bjorks making passionate love to eachother. Must leave
SDMB now and buy copy of film.

I was on a flight from Copenhagen to Heathrow once on which Bjork was a passenger, I had to laugh when I heard one of the other passengers mutter "I hear Bjorn Borg is on this flight"

BTW, she really is a pixie; I saw her put her green velvet curly-toed shoes in her hand luggage.

The only time I've ever seen/heard her perform was at this years Oscar awards. She was dressed in some kind of swan dress Bjork in Swan Dress and her singing sounded very stilted. I'm not sure if that's normal, but I didn't find it attractive. Based on physical appearance alone, however, I don't find her unattractive.

No, you aren't the only one. But I'm sure as hell not one of those who do.

I think she's just silly.

Did you see her on Space Ghost? She played his wife and was really cute and looked absolutely lost, but then so do most of his guests.

As someone who saw her live about eight years ago and nearly fell asleep, I have to say that she is absolutely one of my favourite artists in the world. I really can't understand why she was so boring that day (it was at an all day festival).

There's a documentary I saw with her where she gets to talk about her new MP3 recorder (I think it was), and she walks along the beach recording the sounds of nature. She is definitely way out there, but she's not out of her mind, like a lot of journalists like to portray her. She knows exactly what she's doing, and she does it better than most people in music at the moment.

As to whether she's sexy or not - I used to think she was, but since seeing her in Dancer in the Dark, I get chills every time I think of her (not the good type of chills either). That's one hell of a movie - even though I thought it was amazing, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

And if all that didn't confuse you enough, you should try to listen to all her singles and remixes back to back!

Nope, being from Iceland, where they don't change their names when getting married, she'd still be Björk Guðmundsdóttir

Sorry I have nothinging really insightful to add here, but...

I love Bjorks music and I love the way she presents herself to the public. I think she's a little out there, but I also think she knows exactly what she is doing.

HenrySpencer, I'm actually planning to rent 'Dancer in The Dark' after reading quite mixed reviews for it. Some people don't like it, some do, but everyone seems to agree that it's unforgettable... How did that movie ruin your image of Bjork? (Even if it's a damn good movie, i don't want to jeopardize my goddess-like image of her)

It's a little hard to explain. I think the movie is brilliant, but, like Ghosts of the Civil Dead, which I saw because Nick Cave was in it, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want to see Bjork's excellent acting, but not have your life ruined, maybe switch off the video about ten minutes before the end. Now that I've said that, you're probably even more keen to see the ending, but my advice is to prepare yourself (and make sure you are completely sober/straight, because you'll need all your mental faculties to handle it).

Her singing and general manner in the film is fantastic, but so intimate (and ultimately tragic) that I can't look at her in the same way, even though she's only playing a character.

In one of the great music videos she was in, it was a simulation of an Amazon jungle. In it, Bjork was bitten by a piranha as she was tracing her hand on the water. Did she wilt and become gun-shy? No, she stuck her whole face into the water!!! That she can sing and act was gravy, but I fell in love with her right there.

What I don't get is how in Iceland, a country presumably populated by 100% Indo-European (Norse) people, you could get someone who looks so non-Indo-European. Is she descended from Skraelings brought back by Leif Erikson?
