I just got done watching Romancing the Stone on cable, and it reminded me of how hot she really was. Hell, she is still a fox. She has got to be pushing 50 by now it think. That is a woman who aged very well. Come to think of it, there are quite a few sexy 50+ year old betties out there right now...

Lauren Bacall.
Haven't seen her lately, but was still hot 'way into her 70s. Wouldn't mind if she'd stop by sometime and teach me to whistle.

Funny. My wife and I were talking about this very subject the other night. I had commented that I thought Jane Seymore was quite attractive and had aged very VERY well. The same is with Raquel Welch... Still hot after all these years.

Lena Horne. My father fell in love with Lena Horne the first movie he saw her in (something like 1941) and stayed in love with her until the day he died. I hope I can maintain a crush on someone for 45 years.

And Kathleen Turner just oozes sexuality. Especially when she talks in that throaty purr of hers. Those Dove chocolate commercials she did were the only ones I ever turned up. I never thought of Jane Seymore as sexy but she is beautiful. No doubt about that. |

Tina Turner is amazing, as is the woman who played her in "What's love got to do with it?" and she is in her late 40s, I think.
I thought that Audrey Hepburn was a beauty right up to the end. |

Ever since her first movie role, in Joe, I have been warm for her form. She's *finally* starting to show some age. Ann Margaret, too. Something changed, though, between Grumpy Old Men I and II.

Getting back to the OP, I gotta agree. Kathleen is just some sort of sexy. Was it Romancing the Stone where she pulls herself out of the water and ends up with a wet shirt clinging wonderfully to her chest? Un-frickin-believable. Her voice does it for me too. I mean we're talking Jessica Rabbit here folks.
I even found her hot when she played a guy on Friends, of course that could've just been my drag-queen obsession. |

Lauren Hutton. Mrowr. Even that gap between her front teeth, so silly-looking on Dave Letterman, looks cute on her.
Heck, she almost makes it worth while to rent Once Bitten.

The movie that "turned me on"
to Kathleen Turner was Crimes of Passion where she played the business executive-by-day/hooker-by-night! Good God, was she hot in that movie! ("As you slip inside this wide body. . ." Whew! Tuckerfan rushes off to do something to take his mind off of this.)

Mmmm. Kathleen Turner. Yes indeedy. Her voice is definitely part of the appeal. She had another wet shirt scene, I think, in War of the Roses. Got caught in the rain wearing white.
Speaking of voices, Placido Domingo is still damn sexy after all these years. He can certainly warm up the opera stage. FWIW, Kiri te Kanawa is pretty hot too. I love the opening of Rosenkavalier when she's playing the Marschallin. rivulus |

[HOMER] Mmmmm.... Kathleeeen.... [/HOMER]
You stole my thunder by mentioning the scene near the top of War of the Roses (which is quickly followed by a love scene where she apologizes for a multiple orgasm), but it's also notable for her attempted seduction of Danny Devito's character.
I thought Kathleen would've made a hell of a Catwoman. Purr for me! But now, now... ah, me. Anyone see her in her stage show, Tallulah? I dunno if it was the cold she apparently had at the time, or the lighting, or what, but she did not age as gracefully as I'd've hoped. i mean, yeah, she is quite sultry still, but when I watched the raw tape one of the photogs brought back they'd shot at the show for the news, not even her putting on silk stockings did it as much for me as it used to. Um... eh-heh.

Another vote for Harrison Ford, Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart. Omar Sharif was a cutie in his youth, but he doesn't do anything for me now...
While I don't consider them "older" (being in their 40s, I believe) but Scott Bakula and Richard Dean Anderson are still looking damned good. Maybe better than they did when they were in their '30s. Same with Kurt Russell (is he 50 yet? Doesn't matter - very attractive still). I don't know how old Dean Stockwell is now, but for an "older man" (during the "Quantam Leap" era) I always thought he was very attractive. On the Sci Fi Channel series "Farscape", Kent McCord (from "Adam 12" many eons ago) occasionally guest stars. Damn - he looks good. I don't know how old he is, but he has aged very well. He still looks dashing and distinguished, with lovely silvery hair.

Whoa Whoa Whoa... I dont want to hear about any shriveled old men in MY thread
![]() Anyway, I would have to agree, Laura Dern, Mary Stewart Masterson, and Lori Petty dont really fit into this thread. They aint old. Im 25 myself. I think this thread is more for women that are pushing 50. As far as Bette Midler goes, I couldnt agree more. Something about her has always raised my flag. Shes a little big, but she has awesome legs. Even when I was a kid I thought she was sexy as hell. Audrey Hepburn in her heyday was absolutely stunning. |

virtually any of the other women/men, OK, but Kathleen Turner? Yeah, she used to be hot, and her voice has still held up. But what happened to the rest of her? I saw her a few days ago on the Friends wedding rerun. Did she eat too much yeast to balloon like that? Was it plastic surgery gone wrong? Some horrible disease?
