In the 70's a MLB team groundskeeper found 500 marijuana plants growing in the outfield. The suspicion is that they were planted by attendees of a rock concert. What rock group performed at that stadium?

Multiple choice:
Rolling Stones, Stone Poneys, Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Abba, The Animals, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Byrds, Yes, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Liberace, Doors, Allman Brothers, or The Gumboheads.

Is this a trick question? The 70s is an awful long time (too long, for those of us who lived there), and your list of artists is a bit varied. I hardly think Liberace was performing in baseball stadia, much less performing rock music. Wasn't he entrenched in Vegas by then?

What stadium?
What city?
What date were they found?
Got a newspaper cite?

And welcome to the boards.

The Who, at Edison Field in Anaheim.

And it's probably an Urban Legend.

And--not "planted". Just dropped.

What's the current slang for "seeds and stems"?
