In the 70's a MLB team groundskeeper found 500 marijuana plants growing in the outfield. The suspicion is that they were planted by attendees of a rock concert. What rock group performed at that stadium?
Multiple choice: Rolling Stones, Stone Poneys, Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Abba, The Animals, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Byrds, Yes, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Liberace, Doors, Allman Brothers, or The Gumboheads. |

Is this a trick question? The 70s is an awful long time (too long, for those of us who lived there), and your list of artists is a bit varied. I hardly think Liberace was performing in baseball stadia, much less performing rock music. Wasn't he entrenched in Vegas by then?
What stadium? What city? What date were they found? Got a newspaper cite? And welcome to the boards. |

The Who, at Edison Field in Anaheim.
And it's probably an Urban Legend. http://www.ocregister.com/sports/fea.../history.shtml Quote:
