This store has an ad for the ab exerciser chair for only about 89.99. Is this like the one on tv of John Abdo?
You can rock back and forth and around on it and it would give you a better workout. jBut does excercizing your abdos make the fat in front of them melt away?

no they get bigger and you cannot get rid of fat from a certain portion of your body other than liposuction

to get killer abs you have to have extremely low body fat so they stick out against the skin , course exercising them heavily will make them bigger and stronger however (it kinda dangerous to get to super low fat levels i got to 8st
and still had a big layer of fat over the muscles and i was getting a little under weight , still had rock hard abs)

There are several threads on how to get that washboard midsection, and there is no shortage of tips on the net...the quick answer is no, exercises that isolate the abs won't magically melt fat. A combination of weight training and cardiovascular activity is the ticket to a fabulous bod...forget about home ab exercise gizmos and search the net for training tips...here's just one example:

Typically, the only piece of equipment you need to exercise your abs at home is a mat.
